Sitting Charges
Shouldn’t a portrait be more than a gray background and a stranger commanding, “Say cheese?” A portrait should hold more than a flat image and a false smile. We believe creating the perfect a portrait is a collaborative effort. We may meet more than once or twice to discuss what you are looking for and how you plan to use and display your portraits. The process to create, design and shoot a 30 x 36 family grouping for the family room wall is a little different than producing a memorable 8 x 10 that will sit on your desk. Since this is about you, and for you, we want you to have a say in how and what we do.
Today, close to 100% of our portrait sessions are conducted on-site in parks, playgrounds, yards, living rooms, and you name it! For all portrait sessions we charge a sitting fee. Our sitting charge is a professional fee that helps us maintain a quality presentation of our portraits. The variety of poses in each sitting will vary depending on a number of conditions such as large groups, wardrobe changes or combination sittings. Our goal is to provide a variety of selections allowing you many options in your final portrait selection. All portrait sittings include up to seven people in the photograph. For larger groups there will be an additional charge of $25.00. Additional groupings of families or individuals may be made at $25.00 each. We also provide photo CD’s or DVD’s and can post your images on the Internet for viewing and order fulfillment for your family and friends.
You are guaranteed to be satisfied with your photographic session and the resulting images at the time of delivery. Our sitting fee is the same for any studio, environmental or location portraits.
